Everyone needs a little sunshine in their life, especially in dreary winter, and that's why the Caribbean will always be a top travel spot. When it comes to Caribbean travel destinations, there are as many islands to visit as there are tropical birds in the rainforest. Your options are endless, from reggae-loving Jamaica and affordable Cuba to posh St Barts and Anguilla.
You've got French-speaking Guadeloupe with its European flair, the wealthy Cayman Islands, arid Aruba and exotic Haiti. On top of that, the Caribbean offers all inclusive packages, luxury hotels, apartment rentals and guesthouses, plus a choice of city, rural or beachfront locations. (Obviously, most people are going to choose beach, but some urban destinations, such as Havana, are not to be missed.)
