I woke up this morning and couldn’t remember where I was. Luckily there were a few reminders. So if you find yourself on a whirlwind tour of Europe, don’t worry. You’ll never forget Paris, it won’t let you.
Three cheers for Paris postcards – they’re perfect for all those wannabe novelists who come to Paris to write, but just can’t manage a whole book.
And of course there are Paris-logo aprons, ideal for those who like French cooking … and kittens.
When shopping in Paris, handbags make great souvenirs, because sometimes Gucci just seems so … Italian.
And don’t forget our French haute couture. Chanel, Chanel, Chanel.
Architectural buffs, of course, will want an Eiffel Tower poster. I’d prefer an Eiffel Tower lamp myself, but only if it’s made out of seashells.
And just in case you forgot how you got here, you can buy your vintage Air France poster on Paris’s Left Bank.
And finally, well, I’m sure it says Paris on it somewhere.
