Putting on the Ritz … in video

When it comes to Toronto spas that have it all, the swanky spa at the Ritz-Carlton Toronto is hard to beat

Making a video at the spa at the Ritz-Carlton in Toronto

I have videos on the mind. I just teamed up with vacay.ca to check out the new Spa at the Ritz-Carlton Toronto, the very chichi hotel on Wellington Street West, and we came up with a video of the spa.

I worked with videographer Julia Pelish for the first time and we had so so much fun. In fact, throughout the organization, writing, arranging, shooting, laughing and editing, we didn’t have a single disagreement. Since I’ve only ever filmed with my boyfriend before, I didn’t think this was possible. (Hi, honey!)

Anyway, I loved the Ritz-Carlton spa. Get a look at that lounge!

One of Toronto’s newer spas, and certainly one of Toronto’s best, the Spa at the Ritz Carlton is a soothing blend of white and burnt orange decor, with the best relaxation spa of any of Toronto spa lounges, and all the bells and whistles such as whirlpool and swimming pool. Their high end Clarins MyBlend line mean treatments are well worth a try.

A good spa in Toronto for couples

For couples, this is one of the best spas in Toronto, because of the co-ed relaxation lounge and pool and jacuzzi, while single sex facilities include separate relaxation lounge, bubbling whirlpool and saunas.

About making spa videos

More video news: I’ve just started my own channel on youtube. Wanderingcarol1. I already have my first subscriber! It’s not even my mother. Plus I think I got my first bad comment too, just this morning, only it’s in German so I’m feeling free to ignore it. Except for the words I translated in Google which were, if I remember correctly, “inappropriate” and “just my opinion.” I pretty much gave up translating after that.  But I’m not giving up making videos .. or going to the Spa at the Ritz Carlton in Toronto.

Great video. You and the spa look gorgeous! I wonder if they offer the “non-surgical facelift” facial they have at the Ritz in Fort Lauderdale? It was amazing and it would be great if they had it in Toronto too.
