My first day in Nicaragua and I can’t believe I’m here. And if I thought I was going to be rouging it, so far that just hasn’t happened, at least not at the sustainable Jicaro Eco Lodge, a private island with just 9 villas.
I haven’t just been lying around the pool. I got up at an obscene hour of 5 a.m. to go kayaking and birdwatching, and let me tell you, those birds should learn a little about sleeping in.
I’d write more but I’m leaving now back to the mainland and then to another lodge. And by the way, I don’t know what’s going on with my blog’s main page. My bull is sideways, my spa picture is nonexistent, and I can’t do anything about it until I get home, and you know, stop lying by the pool.
