While I’m at risk of exposing myself as the un-mindful practitioner I really am, I must confess that the only time I do yoga is when I’m on a press trip and someone makes me get up at the crack of dawn to bend into a Downward Dog in some exotic locale. So if there are no Mayan ruins in sight or we’re not on a cliff overlooking the sea, I’m probably sitting at my computer drinking tea.

But the thing is, I feel inspired. This could be my new year’s resolution. I’ll get healthier and happier and more grounded. And maybe one day I’ll be able to do a cartwheel and actually touch my toes.

I think you’d love yoga Carol – the meditative aspect of it along with the stretching of shoulder kinks makes it perfect for writers. I wish I was there to be able to visit the Chopra Yoga Center. Of course, I’m now seated at my computer on the balcony drinking a coffee watching people do yoga on the beach in Banderas Bay, Mexico so maybe I should take my own advice!
