My mom is forever after me to research a story that she began researching back in the 80s about a girl who apparently paddled Lake Ontario on her own and later married Jean Baptiste Rousseau. He had a trading post near what I believe she told me was Baby Point. An Iroquois village was close by and he traded with the village.]]></description>
